The tethers are attached to the bottom of the waterbed mattress to keep the fibers flat inside of your waterbed mattress.

Patent office.  The use of the name in the title and description along
with the using the logo on the images

used to protect our intellectual properties.   They will not be on the
actual products.   The model number along with every detail described
above will be identical to what you receive.
Every fiber filled
mattress comes vacuumed packed in order to fit inside of a UPSable
box.  This process flattens the fiber layers and takes between 1-2 weeks
for the fiber layers to expand to it’s fullest.  When it’s first
filled,  the mattress will have slightly move movement until the fiber
layers have expanded.

layers have separated and expanded to it’s fullest.
